    For the purposes of this debate, the Divergent world behaves in the following way: society is divided into different factions based on key personality traits like bravery, intelligence, kindness, honesty etc... These factions form separate communities, often acting as sub-federal authorities (they function like a municipality or district). Each faction has a specific role: Bravery focuses on defense, Intelligence on education and research, Kindness on healthcare and community, and Honesty on law and justice. When adolescents reach the age of maturity, they take a test to determine their strongest trait and are assigned to the corresponding faction. Once assigned, individuals cannot change factions and must commit to their role.

This model consists of an economy organized, controlled, and distributed by the State, which sets goals, priorities, and how the resources produced are allocated. IS 2: Meanwhile, the self-management model was implemented in Yugoslavia and transferred the organization of the means of production and economic targets to workers’ councils, which self-managed in their workplaces, encouraging competition and removing the State as an active entity, leaving it instead as the manager of the capital produced and organized autonomously by the councils.
