  • This house believes that City C should abolish Category A and accept 160 students from the entire region in Tokyo as opposed to maintaining the current examination system.

    Infoslide

City C is a "fictional" small city in Tokyo. It is famous for its high concentration of businesses. School K is a secondary school in this city, which is a "self-proclaimed" prestigious school, and the city council sets the school budgets every year. The entrance examination system of School K is unique. In Category A, 80 students from City C are selected, and in Category B, 80 students from outside City C who live in Tokyo are selected (duel registration is not allowed). The same entrance examination questions are used for both categories, but due to the difference in the number of applicants, the competition ratio in Category A is approximately 2, while the ratio in Category B is approximately 5 in the recent few years.

Despite these measures, issues like underground betting and loan-sharking linked to organized crime persist. • THBT, it is the interest of Pope Francis, to actively distance himself from the sedevacantist's movement

    Infoslide

Sedevacantism is a movement within the catholic church that fully rejects all changes made by the second vatican council (e.g they still practice mass in latin, old forms of preyers, they reject ecumenical dialogue with any other religions and reject involvement of secular people in the liturgy). They have their own organizations, like Opus Dei, their own media and invest their own capital into their church. The movement is not big in numbers, but they are influencial in many catholic countries and have their own people in mainstream church organizations and in the Vatican. Sedevacatists have been critisizing the current pope for years, accusing him of being too liberal, and thus pulling people away from being saved. Examples of him being too liberals include actively trying to invite gay people to church or involving more woman into the liturgy. The movement is expressing their critique through their own and mainstream catholic media. To the best of our (CAP) knowledge, the Pope is still alive.
