    Recently, many developed countries have announced laws to ban the sales of internal combustion engine vehicles (ICEVs) and hybrid vehicles (HVs) and make 100% of the cars zero-emission (i.e. electric) by 2035-2040. Consequently, most car companies, including Tesla, Ford, and Toyota, have announced to invest significantly on electric vehicles (EVs) at the expense of stopping development of other vehicles. Investing in EVs require massive change in supply chain and employment, as the components for electric vehicles are significantly different from ICEVs.

    The Posting System is a player transfer system between Nippon Professional Baseball (the 2nd biggest baseball league in the world based out of Japan), and the MLB. Players ask to be posted and are given 30 days to negotiate with MLB teams (American baseball). If a player is able to find an MLB willing to sign them to a contract, the MLB team pays a posting fee to the NPB team, which is a number based on the the contract signed between the player and the MLB. Posting fees historically range from 50 thousand, to 50 million dollars. If no contract can be agreed upon between the MLB and the player, then the player returns to their NPB team

    For the purposes of this debate Santa Claus (also known as Father Christmas or Saint Nicholas) is a mythical creature who lives on the North Pole and delivers gifts (or coal) to the world's children every Christmas Eve, based on his assessment of their deeds and morality throughout the year. Santa's manufacturing facilities are operated by elves, who spend all year making various toys and gifts, maintaining Santa's sleigh and tending to his reindeer in order for Santa to complete his yearly trip. The elves are magically bound by Santa to be unable to leave the Village on the North Pole, lest they risk revealing the existence of Santa and the Village.

All companies pay into the same pool of money, and all their workers are looked after from that pool. An Accredited Employers Program allows companies to chose to run their own services for its own employees instead of joining the government pool. Those companies are required to offer their employees that least equivalent support to the government run program.
