These programs are paid for by the state in return for the student being to work for the state for a given period of time (3, 5, 10 years). Students may be bonded to specific departments or just bonded in general. It is possible for students to occasionally default on their bond and pay back the cost of education at a large premium.

    Special Economic Zones (SEZs) are specifically defined areas within a country's geographic jurisdiction that are focused on future economic sectors. For example, the establishment of an SEZ in city A for the development of innovative technologies. An area designated as an SEZ has certain opportunities in the field specialized by the SEZ, such as the availability of the necessary raw materials. SEZs benefit from different legal status than other areas and economic sectors within the country. For instance, they may have tax benefits, relaxed customs regulations (duty-free), eased labor laws, etc. When establishing an SEZ, the state usually tries to attract both foreign and domestic investors, but it provides the necessary infrastructure for the SEZ by itself.

    Currently the Chinese is facing huge issues due to the failure of it's housing sector. The Housing Sector, which is one the largest drivers of the economy, is also funded by largest Chinese private banks, who have either defaulted or are on the verge due to this. China, to disincentivise exposure of it's economy due to private actors haspreviously refused bail out these banks and companies and tried to promote it's public companies. However, for the first time in 2 decades China has not attractedany Foreign Investment in last 6 months, and companies are continuing to pull out from the Chinese Economy. China recently has started giving small fiscal stimulus to the defaulted banks and companies.
