These intelligent and powerful technologies will radically and unpredictably transform our reality. Most notably the singularity would involve computer programs becoming so advanced that artificial intelligence (AI) transcends human intelligence potentially erasing the boundary between humanity and computers. this may lead to the creation of AI that can develop a superior AI that humans cannot understand how its algorism is functioning.

    Hippocratic License is an ethical source license that specifically prohibits the creation/usage of any technology/software that would potentially violate universal standards of human rights. It transforms mankind’s traditional mindset that development of instruments is a pure pursuit with no consequences by taking into account the possible risk of an invention to determine if it is allowed to be produced and used. Examples given but not limited to : Under Hippocratic License GPS that tells you how to reach certain destination will be banned due to it’s potential to be used for military drones to locate their targets or the facial recognition software to put cute filters on Instagram or to easily unlock your phone is banned for it’s possible consequences of being used to record and track political oppositions and activists etc.

  • As Tom this house would fabricate the test result as a failure

    After numerous painful heartbreaks in his life Tom a genius AI programmer declared himself as a celibate and promised not to find love ever again. One day his company assigned him to build a green-tech AI in a form of feminine humanoid robot named Julie. Julie is able to produce seeds that can be turned into renewable energy able to replace the usage of fossil fuels by 85% in the next 5 years increasing the chance to save mankind from global warming by 55%. Tom single-handedly test to see if Julie is genuinely capable to have thoughts and consciousness. Throughout the multiple tests it is shown that the test is a success Julie does possess true sentience. But one thing leads to another; Tom finds himself believing in love once more he is falling deeply in love with Julie and her cheerful personality. While writing the test report Tom learns that if the test were to fail his company will shut down the green tech program and set Julie free. But if it was a success his boss intends to restart and upgrade Julie to a more efficient version. Julie 2.0 can produce seeds in a larger quantity to accelerate the use of renewable energy; but this comes at a cost of permanently deleting her entire memory including all her interactions with Tom.

    There is a technology that allows people to create digital sentient clones of themselves. These clones can perform your daily chores (assignments, office work, etc). The clone will be stored in an egg-shaped device, and will have a mind of its own. A corporation mass produces this technology aimed at the working class to make it easily available for them.

  • In a world where self driving cars exist, this house prefers, that in cases of accidents when some damage is bound to occur, self driving cars be programmed to outsource the decision to the human driver (the car would not make a mathematical harm calculus), over picking the outcome that causes the least numerical human harm.
