    For the purpose of the debate, "Just Ken" is the ideology of the world of Barbie Land, and it is explained as follows: Barbie Land is a place where children—primarily girls—get to control the narrative, with Barbie at the center of that universe. The world of Barbie Land celebrates things associated with femininity—pink, softness, sunshine, friendship. In the context of Barbie Land, Barbie can be anything, have anything, and take on any career she wants without losing her femininity. Conversely, in this world, Ken is not the main character, nor is he the center of the story, and Ken does not mind this. Ken has fewer career options; he is not included on the deed to the Dream House in Malibu within Barbie Land. Ken has feelings for Barbie, but the decision regarding their relationship is always in Barbie's hands. Ken only has a great day when Barbie pays attention to him; otherwise, he does not significantly impact Barbie's daily life.

  • This house would abolish the Specialized Education Programs in Philippine Public high schools (ie: Special Science Class, Special Program in the Arts, Special Program in Sports)

    In the early 2000s, the Department of Education (DepEd) established the Specialized Education Programs for Public High Schools in the Philippines. These include the Special Science Class (SSC), Special Program in the Arts (SPA), and Special Program in Sports (SPS). These programs are made available for incoming Junior High Students, and major subjects (in relation to their chosen field) were added alongside the recommended DepEd curriculum. Alternatively, DepEd also offered the Basic Education Curriculum (BEC), for students who choose to not specialize in a specific field in Junior High School. The Specialized Education Programs are different from Senior High School Strands (STEM, ABM, HUMSS) that were only added to the curriculum during the introduction of K-12 in 2013.

    The 15 are a group of 15 teenagers ranging from the ages of 15-17. They come from a country where they were severely oppressed and denied a childhood – forced to live in concentration camps and fight in a war against the Legion from the moment they could talk and walk. War and combat is all they’ve been exposed to their entire lives. However, due to this, they are also by far the most capable combatants on the planet, with a single one of them being the equiva.lent of 100 regular soldiers. In a struggle against an evil entity known only as “The Legion” that humanity has been locked in war against for decades. In 1 year the Legion will launch an offensive that will likely destroy all of humanity and that humanity cannot possibly defend against. As proposed by humanity’s military experts “Operation Spearhead” is essentially a suicide mission that is humanity’s only chance of survival. It would see the military arming and sending in The 15 deep into enemy territory to destroy the Legion’s key points while they are still vulnerable as they are still building their strength for their coming offensive. This would certainly cost the lives of all of The 15, but is humanity’s most likely chance of survival. The 15 have consented to participating in this operation.
