  • This House Predicts that the Malhaar Certification Initiative will lead to more harm than good

    Infoslide

In March 2025, Maharashtra's Fisheries and Port Minister, Nitesh Rane, introduced the 'Malhar Certification' initiative. This program aims to certify 'jhatka' meat vendors—those who slaughter animals with a single blow, aligning with certain Hindu traditions. The certification ensures that these meat shops are exclusively operated by members of the Hindu community, particularly from the Khatik caste. The primary objectives of the Malhar Certification are to provide consumers with meat prepared according to Hindu religious practices and to promote economic opportunities within the Hindu community. The initiative also seeks to offer an alternative to 'halal' meat, which is prepared following Islamic procedures. To facilitate this, a dedicated platform—MalharCertification.com—has been launched, allowing vendors to register and obtain certification. The website emphasizes that certified meat is fresh, clean, free from saliva contamination, and not mixed with other animal meats.

  • THBT, it is the interest of Pope Francis, to actively distance himself from the sedevacantist's movement

    Infoslide

Sedevacantism is a movement within the catholic church that fully rejects all changes made by the second vatican council (e.g they still practice mass in latin, old forms of preyers, they reject ecumenical dialogue with any other religions and reject involvement of secular people in the liturgy). They have their own organizations, like Opus Dei, their own media and invest their own capital into their church. The movement is not big in numbers, but they are influencial in many catholic countries and have their own people in mainstream church organizations and in the Vatican. Sedevacatists have been critisizing the current pope for years, accusing him of being too liberal, and thus pulling people away from being saved. Examples of him being too liberals include actively trying to invite gay people to church or involving more woman into the liturgy. The movement is expressing their critique through their own and mainstream catholic media. To the best of our (CAP) knowledge, the Pope is still alive.

    Infoslide

AI Jesus, also referred to as Deus in Machina, is an artificial intelligence system designed to generate responses and sermons based on textual data from the New Testament. The system processes biblical scripture, allowing it to generate interpretations, answer theological questions, and simulate sermons in a manner consistent with Christian doctrine. It functions by analysing patterns in the biblical text, extracting themes, and producing coherent theological discourse based on linguistic probabilities. Some iterations of AI Jesus have been integrated into digital confessional booths or interactive chat interfaces, where users can seek guidance, biblical interpretations, or simulated spiritual discussions

  • This house, as the Catholic Church, Prefers the Voting Model over the Conclave Model

    Infoslide

The Conclave is convened in the event of the death or resignation of the Pope, gathering cardinal electors from different parts of the world. No cardinal can vote for themselves, and the participants are isolated without access to external information, limiting contact with society. In contrast, the proposal to expand the electoral base allows all priests, not just cardinals, to participate in the selection of the Pope. In this model, priests can vote for themselves and have access to external information.
