  • This house would implement the differentiated system in Colombia.

    Infoslide

Since 1991, Colombia implemented a process of territorial decentralization that implied giving autonomy to the regions (electing their own authorities, administering their own resources and establishing their taxes, benefiting from the money collected by the national government, organizing their daily affairs without interference from the central government). The Differentiated System is a government model where municipalities and departments obtain autonomy proportional to the positive results they show in development and investment indicators, each evaluation is done every 4 years. (for example, if I do poorly in indicators of multidimensional poverty, mortality rates, literacy, transparency, increase in GDP, the National Government will administer the entirety of my city or department).
