    The Kafala system (or sponsorship system) is a system established in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and also in the Arab states of Jordan and Lebanon. The system aims to regulate employers and migrant worker relationship. The migrant worker cannot enter the country, transfer employment nor leave the country for any reason without first obtaining explicit written permission from their employer, who is also called the kafeel. With this, migrant workers are highly dependent on their kafeel for livelihood and residency.

A person from the host country (the country you want to immigrate to) sponsors your visa and takes responsibility for your stay in the host country. this system has helped a lot of people to be able to immigrate. Currently, the USA has had a lot of problems in terms of determining their immigration policies. Everyday many immigrants have to go through a rigorous process and even after that be rejected for a visa.
